Non-profit co-op housing
Residents collectively shape and sustain the community, keeping the focus on long-term affordability instead of outside profit.
Kingston's first non-profit housing co-op with on-site vertical farming — our mission is to lower the cost of living through collective ownership.

What LCCH does
We are creating non-profit, resident-led homes designed to reduce cost pressure and support long-term community stability.
About LCCHResidents collectively shape and sustain the community, keeping the focus on long-term affordability instead of outside profit.
LCCH is designed to last, with durable systems and environmental goals intended to support stable living for generations.
On-site growing is part of the model, helping reduce costs, strengthen local food resilience, and make the building more self-sustaining.
Residents elect the board and vote on budgets, priorities, and major decisions.
Monthly charges cover real costs and reserves — no profit extracted by outside owners.
Any surplus stays in the co-op to support maintenance, services, and future affordability.
Why co-ops?
In a housing co-op, members own together — not individually. No one can sell their share, which keeps homes anchored to community need rather than speculation.

Show up to a community meeting. Hear where the project stands, ask questions, and meet the people building LCCH.
Help shape the co-op before it's built. Volunteer hours go toward your membership and demonstrate commitment to the community.
Submit a membership application and take the next step toward becoming a member of Kingston's first non-profit housing co-op with on-site vertical farming.
Next meeting
Everyone is welcome — join us for our next board meeting and community potluck.
