Limestone City Co-Operative Housing Thrilled to Announce Appointment of Councillor Jeff McLaren to Development Board
Kingston City Council, at its meeting last night, voted unanimously in favour of appointing Councillor Jeff McLaren to the development board of Limestone City Co-Operative Housing. Councillor McLaren has been a passionate advocate for co-operative housing and an integral part in the creation of this organization.
Mayor Paterson, in speaking about the motion, said that he was “very happy to see a new co-operative organization form in the community.” He elaborated further, thanking “Councillor McLaren and others in their work in putting the organization together. It only makes sense…that Councillor McLaren be the natural choice” for the Board.
Limestone City Co-Operative Housing hopes to have its Articles sent to the province this week for approval.
